About BMC
Birendra Bidhya Mandir Campus(BMC) is a QAA certified Trubhuvan University(TU) affiliated community campus established in 2063 B.S.(2006 AD). It is a non-profit making institution established as a higher educational wing of Biredra Vidhya Mandir Public Educational Trust(BVMPET) as the foundation of TIkapur city which was established in 2031 B.S.(1975 AD) as Tikapur Aawasiya High School. It is a community based public campus established by the collaborative effort of the intellectuals, professionals, academicians, businessmen, politicians, social workers, guardians and the local people. The core aim of the campus is to produce the energetic, capable and competitive manpower having the traits of knowledge with civilization, responsibility and morality through the access of quality education at reasonable and affordable fee.
Birendra Bidhya Mandir Campus is located at the center of Tikapur city with peaceful and educational environment and it lies in the equal distance of 14 Km south from Mahendra Highway(Lamki) and north from Nepal India-Khakraula border. The main catchment area of BMC is Kailiali, Bardiya, Doti, Bajura, Bajhang, Surkhet, Dailekh, Kalikot, Jumla and Darchula districts.
BMC has been running Masters in Education (M.Ed.) and Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.)programmes in faculty of education and Master of Business Studies(MBS) and Bachelor of Business Studies(BBS)prorgramme in faculty of management. It’s a single TU affiliated campus of Tikapur city; it is responsible towards public, society and the nation. A complete academic environment, dedication of all teaching and non teaching staffs and their respect and mutual understandings with moral support and their active participation in different societal programs are some of the typical features of the campus. A complete educational environment with modern educational system including teaching and learning methodology, materials as well as facilities and services are rendered by the campus. Computer lab, filtered pure drinking water, free Wi Fi internet, library, canteen, bicycle stand, power back up, computerized accounting and administrative system, extra-curricular activities, internal test exam, evaluation and feedback, scholarship, educational tour, professional trainings, academic orientation, participation in different sports and other competition, practical examination and other relevant academic activities, facilities and services are available and carried out in the campus.
